Overview

In Korea, most companies have an open recruitment process called 공개채용1, which is focused on recruiting fresh graduates. Korean companies used to prefer inexperienced undergraduates based on the belief that they are easier to train2.


However, this hiring trend has flipped during the past few years, as large companies like Samsung, Hyundai and LG started to prefer more experienced applicants. This change has led to numerous difficulties for job seekers to prepare for the recruitment process.

Idea Validation

In order to validate the demand for our idea, a market research was conducted. We analyzed the capacity of the online job training and consulting market. Then, looked into possible competitors currently in the market.
